Tamar Alexia Fleishman, Esq.
I travel all over the world, but just found out that according to a scientifically researched study by the folks at RoC, it’s not necessarily the Sunbelt dwellers who are the most susceptible to wrinkles . . . in fact, I live in the 5th most susceptible place in the USA! I was happy to be hosted to experience their line.
According to New York City-based board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Erin Gilbert, MD, PhD, FAAD: “People are widely aware of the dangers of UV exposure, so a natural assumption is that the Sunbelt states would automatically be at the top of this list,” said. “However, we sometimes forget that there are a number of regionally-based factors – not getting enough rest or working late hours – that can also take a toll on your skin.”
I was trying to think, with consternation — thus, creating more wrinkles — what could possibly be wrinkling people in Baltimore and Towson, Maryland. It’s probably a long list of things, including our hot, humid weather, our local elections/petty politics/fights over parking spaces, police cadet drug dealers, mail delivered as late as 10:15 pm, drivers running red lights, terrible mass transit, and lots of other annoyances that pile up. Plus, of course, people around here work hard and don’t have time to themselves. Here’s the official explanation:
Fortunately, RoC has products targeted to the individual needs of the top wrinkle sufferers! I’ve been using RoC Retinol Correction MAX wrinkle resurfacing system to ease the damage. One tube is a light, silky lotion and the other, a dark mud-clay colored silicone textured cream that disappears upon contact. They don’t feel heavy or burning or greasy. They soothe the skin. I’ve also been supplementing it with RoC Retinol Correction Eye Cream, a light lotion texture. I always use eye cream, no matter what and no matter where I am!
Here’s the official list . . . is your home or vacay spot on here?
