Do your products contain animal derived ingredients?
Yes. A few of our formulas contain organic beeswax, honey or organic milk. We have chosen these ingredients because of their excellent moisturizing and antiseptic properties as well as their natural origin compared to other harsh and synthetic alternatives.
They have a number of categories, including “shaping and firming”. The first step involves using the shaping salts and oils, then the firming salts and oils. The salts are finely ground, so you can use them in a bath or mix them with the corresponding oil to create a scrub. I like that — especially while traveling — as sometimes, you don’t really know how clean the bathtub is. My mom, who travels the globes, especially warns against that . . . you don’t want to bring home an unintended souvenir! Either way, I found the products relaxing and stimulating at the same time, if that makes sense. The citrus and other natural oils do help combat “orange peel” skin. Isn’t that ironic?
Since the salts are dry, you don’t have to include them in a 3-1-1 carry-on flight travel bag. The oils fit a 3-1-1 carry-on travel bag beautifully.
The scents are delicious and efficacious. In the Shaping phase, this is what they say about it:
Organic pink pepper stimulates healthy circulation and tone. Organic ginger naturally warms the skin, promoting healthy circulation. Organic grapefruit promotes vibrant skin tone and complexion, while its diuretic properties are known to help alleviate water retention.
In the Firming phase, this is what they say about it:
Frankincense eases skin inflammation, enhances general skin tone and aids in the smoothing of wrinkles. Helichrysum carries skin regenerating and anti-inflammatory properties, while sandalwood soothes and calms as it boosts skin hydration.
