Good and clean skin while traveling with Pür Minerals [classic article]

Cleansing while traveling is quite the balancing act. You want to get rid of unfamiliar urban or hiking grime, but you don’t want anything that will scratch your skin and make it rashy. Then, you want to keep it moist and protected from the sun. Now there’s Pür Minerals to the rescue! I was happy to be hosted to experience it.

So, other than the Rescue Squad DD Cream, these are not for 3-1-1 carry-on travel bags. But so many journeys don’t require them! The packaging is good for travel otherwise.

In The Clear Clarifying Cleanser is a non-gritty exfoliating cleanser: very gentle and creamy. Oily skin doesn’t necessarily want a stripping cleanser! This soothing potion has lavender, peppermint and aloe vera.

Dirty Girl Detoxifying Mud Masque is a drier clay mask in a tube: you don’t need to load it on and you can rinse it off in as few as 5 minutes. This is what they say about it:

As the salicylic acid in this exfoliating mask sloughs away dead skin and debris, Pascalite—a unique form of bentonite clay—absorbs pore-clogging impurities for a visibly fresher, more radiant complexion. Gluten free.

Formed more than 30 million years ago in Wyoming’s Big Horn Mountains, Pascalite has been used by Native Americans for centuries as a folk remedy for insect bites, stings and other skin irritations.

Here’s a product that does double, triple, even quadruple duty! Miracle Mist spray can go on your face, body, hair to hydrate, set makeup. It’s got a light citrus scent and has more than 70 essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids. Try it just before using moisturizer!

Rescue Squad SPF 25 ( 2 oz ) Daily Defense Crème has natural hydrators and Matrixyl® Synthe’6—the latest generation of anti-aging peptides. You use it on your face and body, so that saves room in your bag! It’s rich but not greasy.
