A lot of people like the concept of lunches and Happy Hour, but have to look out for portions, budget, social opportunities. People may have been cutting back, but summer is not the time to cut back on fun! On the other hand, you may have cravings for the luxe seafood and steak of Kona Grill, but thought you had to save them for some other time. Not anymore! They’ve instituted all kinds of fun and snack menus. I was happy to be hosted to experience them!
So, there are Kona Grills all over, my nearest one is in Baltimore, right by the Inner Harbor and on the way to see the Orioles and Ravens.
Does your job flog you like an Erie Canal mule? Nah, I wouldn’t know anything about that . . . well, there was that summer where I never saw daylight. They have happy hours Mon-Fri 2-6 and everyday from 9 pm to close! If your boss is keeping you chained to the cubicle farm past then, I can’t help you.
There are also lunches and brunches, as well as steak night!

In a restaurant, though, it’s all about the food and drink. I sampled small bites and drinks on the Happy Hour menu, starting at $3! I really appreciate all the options: people can get what they prefer and how much they’re comfortable spending. I remember in law school, some of the more well-heeled kids would invite me to some outlandish brunch and I could never go.
There were all kinds of summery cocktails. I hadn’t had a good Aperol Spritz since I was at the ritzy Marina de Pietrasanta in Italy. It’s what they drink there! Kona’s is re-freshing! They use Aperol, La Marca Prosecco, soda water and an orange slice.

They also have steak bits on a dab of mash, crispy crabby sushi, perfectly cooked beautiful shrimp and the freshest tuna. You can even get chicken and vegan dishes! Make this summer your happiest.
