Spring cleaning. We usually think of the concept when it comes to our homes, but this is a good time of year to detox your hair, too! The shampoo is described as having the scent of apples and lavender. I get more apple cider vinegar/lemon/lavender, fresh and pleasing. You apply it a little differently than most shampoos, letting it sink in for 2 minutes before rinsing. It has a thick lather and rinses away very clean.
Back when I was younger, I collected and read many books on herbs and making things with them. The shampoo features many ingredients that are known among herbal experts and indigenous folk to be traditionally great for hair: castor oil, nettles, lavender, biotin, geranium oil, tea tree oil, cedar bark oil.
With the conditioner, you also leave it in for 2 minutes. It pumps out in a rich cream consistency. It has the same fruity/fresh scent of the shampoo, with additional ingredients like coconut oil, argan oil and several vitamins. It is a lighter weight conditioner. There is no silicone or mineral oil in it
