VictoriaLand Beauty helps you be pretty inside and outside!

Victoria Watts certainly knows a thing or two about turning lemons into lemonade, ravaged into ravishing, surface into deep. Joyously, her home is known to loved ones as “VictoriaLand”. My local transportation system is known to me and my loved ones as “M -TamaryLand”. Hey, if you’re not spending life laughing, you’re crying, right?

Victoria’s skin started freaking out when her marriage ended. I wish I could say I have no idea what that’s like, but the same exact thing happened to me . . . just when I had to get out there and face (bad pun) the world! It pretty much took a village of healers and lots of time. Victoria’s travails inspired her to create VictoriaLand Beauty: I was happy to be hosted to experience it!

Victoria was clever and studied fruit, nut and plant oils that soothed the complexion. She wanted to put “good” out there, making products that are vegan and cruelty free. A portion of what is earned is donated to Boston Children’s Hospital.

I tried the Skin-Loving Minis, which are a TSA friendly trio that will replenish any complexion. Whether you’re having trauma in your life, getting over the Polar Vortex, heading to music fests or traveling the globe, you want fresh, hydrated skin without clogged pores or greasiness. After washing your face with a gentle cleanser, try these three elegant products to bring back that confidence!

Skin-Loving Elixir Revitalizing Face Oil is a super-light oil that applies  with a dropper. Use 3-4 drops alone or mixed with moisturizer. It has the faintest rose notes. It dries to a silky dry texture. You can apply makeup right away. Here’s some of their interesting ingredients:

Revinage®
A clinically-proven, multi-tasking “force of nature” that reduces wrinkles and hyperpigmentation (brown spots), minimizes the effects of environmental stressors and increases skin density and firmness.

Gatuline® In-Tense
A revitalizing extract from the spilanthes acmella flower that has been proven to visibly smooth and firm skin while rapidly reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Rosehip Seed Oil
A time-tested “healer” known to moisturize and reduce hyper-pigmentation for an overall improvement in skin tone and texture

Skin-Loving Moisturizer Nourishing Face and Neck Cream will do that heavy-duty work that you might find yourself needing after a long-haul flight, a day in the sun/wind or if life seems to be draining your vital forces! It has a rich lotion-balm consistency with and natural citrus notes. After using it as a night cream, I woke up with smooth — and not broken out — skin. Everyone’s different, but I can often get irritation with less than refined ingredients. Here are their top-notch ingredients:

Rosehip Seed Oil (RSO)
A naturally rich source of essential fatty acids that helps to regenerate skin cells and repair damaged skin tissue. This time-tested “healer” is also known to moisturize and reduce hyper-pigmentation for an overall improvement in tone and texture that leaves skin with a healthy, natural glow.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
Anecdotally referred to as the “fountain of youth,” HA is known to naturally reduce the signs of aging—fine lines, wrinkles, sagging—with it’s exceptional moisture-binding properties.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil (MSO)
Known to help skin form a barrier to lock in moisture and deliver nutrients deep into the epidermis. MSO’s rare blend of anti-oxidants and easily absorbable fatty acids helps to increase skin elasticity while balancing the skin’s oils to provide hydration without oiliness.

Eyes and lips can show the signs of fatigue and age more than anything. It’s great to have a product that can do double-duty, especially when you’re on the go. Skin-Loving Treatment for Eyes and Lips has a silky cream consistency and no discernible fragrance. If you have those lines radiating from your mouth from jogging outdoors or smoking, this will help. Here are the ingredients:

Meadowfoam Seed Oil (MSO)
Known to help skin form a barrier to lock in moisture and deliver nutrients deep into the epidermis. MSO’s rare blend of anti-oxidants and easily absorbable fatty acids helps to increase skin elasticity while balancing the skin’s oils to provide hydration without oiliness.

Organic Evening Primrose Oil (EPO)
Used by Native Americans and European settlers, EPO has stood the test of time for its health benefits. High in essential fatty acids, it provides the building blocks for cell membranes and is known to lighten dark circles, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and increase elasticity for firmer, smoother-looking skin.

Tri-Peptide Complex
Matrixyl® 3000 has been proven to promote wrinkle smoothing and improve skin tone and elasticity; Argireline is known as the topical alternative to Botox based on its unique ability to prevent the development of skin wrinkling; and Eyeseryl® has been proven to reduce under-eye puffiness and dark circles while enhancing skin elasticity and smoothness.
