Dial Soap has a new luxe side!

When I was a kid, we had a summer cottage in South Haven, Michigan. Lake Michigan provided most of our entertainment: splashing around in the water and then, playing in the sand when the riptides came in the late afternoon. We had the “good” bathroom — my grandmother’s. Downstairs in the laundry room was a stationary tub, a washboard that I wish I had inherited and an industrial shower right over a concrete floor that I often shared with my basset hound, Zoltan. My dad would scrub us both down, getting as much sand off as possible with the classic gold bar of Dial Soap. We weren’t allowed upstairs until that had taken place. Don’t worry, that American favorite is still in stores. But now, they have products that would be very much at home upstairs in the good bathroom! I was happy to be hosted to experience it.

For generations, one wouldn’t have used Dial on the face. The classic bar isn’t made for that. But now, there are a couple of collections that are specifically formulated to help keeping your face moisturized. 2 in 1 Moisturizing & Antibacterial Beauty Bar isn’t called “soap”, because it incorporates more nurturing elements. There are 3 fragrances: Manuka Honey, Coconut Milk, Silk & Magnolia. The last 2 actually incorporate those natural ingredients, like coconut milk and silk protein.
