Recently featured by the New York Times, David Tran: born in Vietnam of Chinese descent, but an American immigrant. He’s created the product that so many top chefs use — and me, too! — Sriracha sauce. How does it differ from let’s say, Crystal, which I also use? Theirs incorporates a different hot pepper, jalapeno, as well as garlic and sugar. Very Asian!
