Face it: you don’t eat right. Neither did anyone else, ever . . . sorry, Paleo Diet people. Unless you’re a salmon fisherman who has freshly-picked, organic fruits and veggies of many colors — especially greens — brought for several smoothies a day, it’s fairly impossible to get on your own what you need to look and feel your best. Sure, you wake up and go to work, have a life . . . but are you at your best? Agriculture brought massive amounts of bread eating, which grew the Human race, but nowadays, it’s just making us bigger. The people who are against dietary supplements — saying it “just makes expensive urine” — don’t understand the difference between subsistence and truly being at your peak.
Is there anything that can help us in this quest? Fortunately, there is. Dr. Nick Perricone — world-renowned dermatologist, health and beauty expert, author, scientist, lecturer and veteran — has created supplements to help us in this endeavor. I was happy to be hosted to experience the Skin & Total Body Supplements.
Everything you need is packaged in an organized manner, to grab individual packets to take to work, travel, lunch. You take a full packet twice daily with meals. Each packet has several supplements: we don’t yet live in the Jetson age where everything you need can be put in one pill, sorry! Some of the pills are soft oil gelcaps, some not. It does take some discipline to get used to taking the harder pills, but I suggest downing them with a thicker beverage, such as a smoothie, buttermilk, something like that. Then, drink a good amount of water to help things start moving, which is always a good idea anyway.
This is what they say about it:
EACH INDIVIDUAL PACKET CONTAINS
– Super Antioxidant(2 Supplements)
– Omega-3 (1 Supplement)
– Astaxanthin (1 Supplement)
– Derma-Glo (1 Supplement)
– Calcium/Magnesium Blend (1 Supplement)
– Rejuvenate (1 Supplement)
– Skin and Joint Essentials (1 Supplement)
BENEFITS
– Promotes healthy teeth, bones, joints, hair, and nails
– Supports healthy-looking skin
– Helps support normal muscle tone
This is what I say: I definitely have beauty issues that were addressed when I took the supplements. For instance, I have very soft toenails. Considering how important walking across the globe was for human civilization, I often wonder how my family line didn’t die out 100,000 years ago. The supplements really help, but you have to keep up with them. Also, my hair grows very slowly and this helps with that issue. I look a lot younger than I am anyway, but the improvement shows in selfies that look tighter, fresher.
