Shepherdstown, West Virginia has an Old South side that’s tempered by having a university in town, bringing a funkiness to the scene. Lost Dog Fine Arts Coffee and Tea has several kinds of coffee beans, many syrups and a good selection of teas. They have a blackboard featuring all kinds of coffee concoctions, more flavors than most dessert bars! You’ll also find some local products for retail, like honey.
Their dining section has games, child-like furniture and is away from the retail section: private, conducive to long-term hanging . . . but what’s really fun is the must-see ’70’s style graffiti in the bathroom! I felt like I had been transported back to my bell-bottomed childhood.

Tamar is a Kentucky Colonel and has managed several Southern rock and alt-country bands.Tamar has traveled around the world; let her help you guide you to the special places to go and the fabulous things to bring there and bring back home!
