Panorama at the Peak in Berkeley Springs, WV used to be known as “Panorama”. I must say, I was a little disappointed at first when I saw the menu changes — no prime rib, local watercress salad, huge liqueur drink with coffee and sugar rim. However, I kept an open mind and I’m glad!
The menu is modern and very localvore now. It’s a different creature altogether, though the atmosphere is still romantic and the timeless view will always be wonderful. Would I object if some of the old menu found its way back, though? Not at all. However, it’s nice to know that the menu changes every month, using the best local ingredients. There have been special evenings devoted to the farm produce of different neighboring counties.
