Feel good, taste good with Black and woman owned Ooh La La skin care

The founder and CEO of Ooh La La skin care, Beverly R. Perry, started her career as a prominent attorney. Then, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. Recovering from the harsh treatments, she was inspired to create for herself organic, high-quality body care products, starting with a body butter and moisturizing cream. She is proud to be a Black and woman business owner. The company slogan is: “Made with Nature, Blessed by God”. I was happy to be hosted to experience it!

So, the body butters come in 12 scents and flavors. Yes, it’s all natural and edible! I tried Comforting Chocolate. Now, it’s not like candy, it’s more cocoa butter flavored — though it doesn’t have cocoa butter. The scent is rich and creamy milk chocolate, though it doesn’t have milk, either. It’s a vegan product! Here are the ingredients:

Organic Raw Shea Butter

Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Organic Golden Jojoba

Chocolate Flavor

Vitamin E

Vanilla Oil

The consistency is both very rich, yet soft. You don’t have to melt it to apply. So, how does it work? Well, one of my hands is fairly scarred from an accident and both hands are very dry from swimming. So, I put a thick layer on the tops of my hands and went to sleep. Well, it really, really helps! I will use this on my feet, too.

They suggest it for skin, hair and nails — which makes it versatile product for traveling, for sure. You can use it to protect your hair ends before swimming. It would be perfect for sheering out a cream blush.
