Caldrea: keeping you smelling sweet on the road just like at home [classic article]

Caldrea is a luxurious aromatherapy line that was previously only known for their lusciously scented home products. Now, they’ve branched out to personal care and beauty items, to keep you smelling beautiful, even while traveling. I was very glad to be hosted to experience it!

Caldrea sets itself apart with a combination of natural essential oils from flowers and herbs with safe ingredients sourced at the level of personal care.

“The Little Luxuries Set” is a collection of products perfectly sized for 3-1-1 carry-on travel bags. In fact, it’s packaged in a little clear, waterproof bag. Coconut Fig Leaf, one of the scent choices, is deeply seductive. The body wash will change showers or baths from being just an ablution chore! The body lotion is a thinner texture, easily absorbed. Many times when traveling, one used to feel like pampering body treatments had to be left at home. Not so! With the little body oil, you can use it as a layer over body lotion, as a sheen product post sun, even a few drops as a hair product in a fragrant pinch. The ingredients in the products are nutritious, too: the body lotion contains shea butter and chia seed oil — for a rich but clean finish — while the body wash is created with angelica root and linden flower extract. The body oil is created with grapeseed and apricot kernel oil.

This is what they say about their body care products:

Made to be safely close to you, there are no phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, DEA nor artificial colors.
Each ingredient is methodically assessed singularly and in formulation for safety and health.
Vegan and not tested on animals.
