A great hamburger seems like it would be such an easy thing to find, being such a classic American dish. Not so! A hamburger joint near me sells these monstrously large burgers that never cook properly and are disgusting . . . they get a lot of awards, because people don’t know any better!

They should all go to a genuinely delicious hamburger joint! Hunter House Hamburgers have been doing it right since 1952! They’re at 35075 Woodward Avenue, Birmingham, MI . . . a suburb of Detroit. It’s in an old-timey diner, serving all of those 1950’s classics, including breakfast. Food Network rated it “Michigan’s #1 hamburger”. Classic rock plays in the background.

As for the pièce de résistance, The Detroit Jewish News describes the burger like this: “its luscious burgers (small patty of beef smashed thin, with grilled sweet onions, served on a soft, steamed bun)”. They’re juicy, well seasoned and irresistible!
