Some luxurious beauty products that will benefit Cancer and Careers

QVC has achieve real levels of prestige over the past decade and they’ve been rewarded by being the shopping destination for all kinds of people — including top celebrities! They love the benefits that everyone does: shopping in your jammies, by means of your computer, phone or other device, 24/7!

There will be many beauty items for sale on April 28th to benefit Cancer and Careers; here’s some information about some of them!

Shiseido Benefiance Eye Masks – These are pure retinol crescent disks that you peel off a backing after having cleansed your skin, apply and wait 15 minutes. They are placed under the eyes and may also be used around the mouth. These are ingenious for jet-setters, as they would not count towards your 3-1-1 carry-on travel bag/TSA requirements. The masks were developed using Shiseido’s original retinol Micro-infusion Technology and formulated with chlorella extract, mukurossi extract, and gambir extract to help reduce the appearance of under-eye wrinkles. They help smooth everything out, making makeup application better. Because they use retinol, you should use sun protection when going outside.

Perricone MD Nourishing Moisturizer – Nicholas Perricone is considered one of the top dermatologists in the world. His skincare product line is well-coveted and it’s easy to see why: he doesn’t just slap his name on a jar. Rather, he researches the scientific and cosmetic benefits of everything in his line. This newer moisturizer in the line incorporates olive polyphenols for deep hydration and anti-aging. Unlike many moisturizers, you can use it day and night, as well as a primer before applying makeup. It comes in a tub with little application spatula for hygiene. Its consistency is smooth and silky, not greasy or waxy.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks – Bobbi Brown is a world-famous celebrity makeup artist who’s authored several books and created her eponymous line that’s always been based on realistic colors that are perfect for the office, photos, etc. Her pot rouge comes in several colors with a range that would work for all skin tones. They look bright in the pot, but are sheer and creamy. Because they brighten your whole face so quickly and easily, they would work for everyone’s “desert island” cosmetic.

Eve Pearl The Lip Palette – Eve Pearl is a makeup artist who has a newer — and often very difficult to find in brick and mortar stores — line. She focuses on richly pigmented cosmetics and this palette has 18 Vitamin E enriched colors. Not only is this palette fabulous for traveling or to keep at the office for its wide range of colors in several different finishes, but it would also work well as a special gift. The compact has a mirror and double ended brush.

Edward Bess Black Sea Complexion Correcting Mousse Foundation – Edward Bess is a wunderkind makeup artist and beauty line developer whose products are pretty much instantly sold out in the most exclusive department stores. This foundation looks in the jar like it would be rich and heavy, but it’s really souffle’-like: it deposits pigments without weight. Botanical actives from the Black Sea help with the skincare/anti-aging aspect. This product comes with a synthetic brush for perfect lay-down.

Alterna Caviar Repair Split Ends Mend – Alterna is a luxury salon brand, famous for the premium ingredients it uses in products. This dual-chambered pump gives out a light, sheer serum-like lotion incorporating caviar and algae to temporarily seal split ends. It has a delicious scent.

NARS NARSissist Blush, Contour and Lip Palette – NARS is also a makeup artist line, renowned for sexy colors and high quality. The new palette has everything you need for on-trend sculpted cheeks, for all skin tones. With shades that cover warm and cool tones, it’s perfect for traveling. If you need to streamline your makeup for any reason, this is the blush product to have. The palette also has a sheer, shimmery light pink lipgloss with golden shimmer, as well as a mirror. You have to supply your own brushes.

Givenchy Special Edition Eyeshadow Palette – Givenchy started out as one of history’s most glamorous couturiers and has had a cosmetics line for decades. The most chic movie stars wear it. This collectible palette is in a heavy, small decorated metal compact , , , sure to be perfect for any elegant miniaudiere. The four colors — including a glitter highligher — can be blended or combined to work for any skin tone and any occasion. Other than the highlighter, the shades are suede in texture. The compact includes a mirror and double-ended applicator brush.

TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Nail Laquer – After years of people begging for American designer Isaac Mizrahi to put out a cosmetics line, he’s finally done it! His esthetic has always been clean, preppy and stylish. He has teamed with an aesthetician to create cheerful and good-for-you cosmetics. His nail polishes come in a number of finishes and a range of colors that are classic-classic to modern favorites.

Cancer and Careers
