Drunk Elephant has created luxury product-filled suitcases as holiday gifts for now 8 years. This year, for the first time, the carry-on is their own creation! The all-direction wheelie has a combination lock, firm removable sectional dividers and mesh pockets. The sectional dividers are great as a backup protection for breakable items or dirty items like shoes. Mesh pockets are perfect for anything that needs to “breathe”, such as a semi-damp swimsuit. The hard case itself is gray with unique bright green fixtures — elephant like colors! I have a great tip, having had a bag go missing on the airlines for 10 days: take a picture of it before releasing it from your sight. I was happy to be hosted to experience it!
The trunk is splurge -worthy, but value packed. It costs less than a day at the spa and the products will last so, so much longer. The vast majority of items are full-sized, but there are a few single-use sachets in there. Some products are TSA-friendly sized, while you would have to pick and choose to bring them as carry-ons.

Protini™ Polypeptide Cream is now refillable! It’s a cream-gel consistency and more of a heavy lifter, though not goopy. The formula makes it suitable for a wide variety of complexions. It adds protein to thin skin — so common in winter — that is aged. Amino acids and growth factors help. I think it’s brilliant for crepey necks. It has a.touch pop-up applicator.
C-Firma™ Fresh Day Serum Fresh brightens and firms with 15% l-ascorbic acid, aka vitamin C. I would say the time to use it is when you’re still seeing signs of summer damage, buildup of cells and roughness that hasn’t responded to scrubs. I think maybe you don’t need it when your skin is thin, reddened or super-delicate. Serums go on first in your skincare routine and are ultra-thin in consistency.
For more subtle exfoliation, try T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum. A gentle exfoliation helps the moisturizers absorb. You don’t want scrubby scrubs. This is what they say about this sheer, light serum:

A-Shaba Complex™ Eye Serum is a great product, especially if you’re applying makeup: it’s light enough not to interfere. This is how they describe it: “A smoothing eye serum with 0.1% vegan retinol, 3% caffeine, and copper peptides that targets fine lines and wrinkles and reduces puffiness.”
Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil comes from the oil of the marula fruit, found in Southern Africa. This oil is noted to be rich in omegas 6 and 9. Beste™ No. 9 Jelly Cleanser is a multi-award winning cleanser that’s clear, sheer and refreshing. Still, it’s a “heavy lifter” that does a lot of things that usually takes oils or creams. This clear gel cleanser is soothing, gentle, yet effective. It is fragrance free. When you want pure cleanser — no other action going on to conflict with your treatments — this is the product you want. It’s suitable for all ages.
Many beauty magazines, including Allure, NewBeauty, InStyle, etc., have given their top awards to T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial. This is a AHA/BHA skin resurfacer (AHAs and BHAs are two different acids that perform different functions in skincare). It’s a creamy consistency mask that contains glycolic, tartaric, lactic, citric and salicylic acids. This combo rapidly dissolves that thick, distressed layer of skin that creates the appearance of big pores, accentuates wrinkles, leads to breakouts and other problems. Think of the skin of a professional golfer vs. the amateur who’s mostly indoors. Because there are a lot of active ingredients, they do caution you to not use other potent products at that time or on irritated skin. Also, they recommend you use their Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil afterwards.

Bouncy Brightfacial Masque Illuminator has a point of difference in that it tackles two opposite problems: redness and lack of brightness. It accomplishes this with with 10% azelaic and 1% salicylic acids. It’s meant to be the very last step in either a day or nighttime skin routine, though — like other Drunk Elephant products — it’s meant to also be mixed with any serum or moisturizer. While very few things work overnight, I did notice that my red marks did subside in about three days, which is great during the time of year when you don’t want to wear so much makeup. It pumps out in a rich lotion consistency.

Although Drunk Elephant has always had moisturizers and oils compatible for a wide range of skin concerns, there was a need for a targeted product for the driest, barrier compromised skin. Enter Bora Barrier Repair Cream! It’s rich but not greasy. You can apply one pump both day and night. After a night’s application, you wil be shocked at the changes overnight! This is what they say about it:

Slaai™ Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is for deep-cleansing and removing makeup. You can stroke a thin film or dig in. Rich in fruit extracts and oils – like borage, strawberry and watermelon seed – it liquifies to a milk consistency when water is applied. So, it’s not a huge cleansing project to remove the remover.
